Temera, Luxochain and Polygon are pleased to announce the collaboration with Bulgari’s newera fine jewelry: Emeralds, rubies and NFT

Beyond Wonder is presented with the NFT artworks of two High Jewelry creations, namely the Ruby Metamorphosis and Emerald Glory necklaces. Further strengthening the link between High Jewelry and High Technology thanks to Bulgari’s constantly evolving craftsmanship and creative vision, the two digital works of art will be sold only with their physical twin necklace, uniting the tangible and the intangible into a perfect whole. The two “digital twins” are not replicas of the necklaces to wear on Metaverse, but rather digital artwork inspired by the necklaces. Their data is stored on the Aura blockchain and also on Polygon Blockchain.

NFTs are minted by Luxochain, an innovative company that is becoming a reference for Fashion & Luxury, with the support of Polygon Studios, and are accessible through a digital experience created by Temera, a leader in business journey focused on the innovation for brands. Digital twins are fast becoming a popular type of NFT for fashion brands. While some claim digital twins lack a proper luxury halo and are more akin to a “bonus pack” mentality, Bulgari is taking the plunge by tying its NFTs directly to high jewelry purchases. The LVMH-owned jeweler, together with the same team of partners, has already launched a limited-edition collection of 10 NFT works of art inspired by the Octo Finissimo Ultra, which bills itself as the world’s thinnest mechanical watch. They open using a QR code engraved on the barrel ratchet wheel. While the watch industry was one of the early proponents of Web3, the jewelry industry has so far steered clear of it.

Guido MengoniCMO of Temera, said: “Launching a second project in the NFT field, after Octo Finissimo, is a great honor for us at Temera. In this case, the Digital Twin concept makes us even more proud, because it comes closer to what is our main objective: the serialization and tracking of the product even in its fully digital life. Bulgari gave us the opportunity to start this journey together, paving the way for a unique innovative path in the fine jewelry industry.”

david baldiCEO of Luxochain, added: “We are very proud to be part of this consortium of high profile players on the international scene and we are honored by the esteem and trust that Bulgari has shown us over time. We have always been keen to protect the reputation of brands and safeguard the authenticity of products, what better opportunity to be able to achieve this with such precious jewelry. We believe that the market is still in the early stages of experimenting with this new technological innovation, which can guarantee authenticity and a new form of experience and loyalty to the end customer, and Bulgari is proving to be an innovative company in this sector, also for high-end products such as jewellery”.

Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon, said, “Linking ownership rights to proof of authenticity is a powerful way to demonstrate verifiable digital ownership and secure counterfeiting. Polygon and Polygon Studios are proud to be the pioneers of this new NFT standard to strengthen authenticity in the luxury sector.” The teams of Polygon, Temera and Luxochain, jointly, confirm the desire to create a standard for the creation of NFT, excluding speculation, becoming a symbol of authenticity and anti-counterfeiting obtaining the full support of a House such as BVLGARI.
