Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 by Virgil Abloh: the exhibition is coming to Singapore
If you’ve been on a Hypebeast high since these holy grail kicks were announced, you’re not alone. Better yet, if you want to see them in person, you’re in luck – Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton and Nike “Air Force 1” exhibit is coming to Singapore.
Singapore will be the second stage of the exhibition after New York and our island will be the only country in Asia to host this experience.
What to expect at Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton and Nike Air Force 1: exhibition
Here you will have the chance to see the 47 sneakers that the late designer created throughout his prolific career, each one as revolutionary as the next. The space – decked out in bright orange and adorned with Louis Vuitton and Nike logos – will be Instagram heaven for sneaker collectors and will feature digital screens showcasing his creative process for each of the now-iconic kicks.
Fans of Virgil Abloh will also recognize the painted clouds that frame each sneaker, imagery that often appears in his sets and campaigns.
Abloh was best known for his ability to marry streetwear with luxury, and that ingenuity is also showcased via a central digital showcase, which sees him navigate the Maison’s craftsmanship through his inimitable lens in the former atelier. Fiesso d’Artico.
The latest tribute to the designer’s commitment to building bridges between countries and cultures, Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton x Nike “Air Force 1” exhibit will house a graphic globe sculpture that depicts all of the unifying motifs he used at his time.

Nine editions of the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 sneakers will be launched in Singapore via a digital activation in line with the exhibition.
These nine sneakers will include tops that will retail for S$4,900 and bottoms for S$3,900, and will be available in Nike sizes ranging from 3.5 to 18.
The launch will include the classic all-white sneaker that has been engraved with the Louis Vuitton monogram, as well as a black suede version of it.
Two-tone editions in white will come with green, red or blue details – a nod to Abloh’s signature rainbow pattern. Those looking at the metallic gold version will be pleased to know that these will also be available, alongside the patchwork multicolor iteration and a graffiti checkerboard version.
