Hermès has launched a brand new makeup collection which is aptly titled “Plein Air”

After introducing lipsticks, blushers and nail polishes, Hermès is back! The marquee recently launched a brand new makeup line that is inspired by the freedom of the outdoors and is aptly titled “Plein Air” (outdoor translation).

Showcasing a range of skincare products that promise to improve complexion, the collection focuses on natural ingredients as opposed to synthetics. Its luxury absorbent powders are made from hemp fibers, wood pulp and soft Kozo fibers from paper mulberry trees.

On the other hand, the natural complexion-enhancing balm includes a moisturizing formula of hyaluronic acid, evening primrose oil, Baikal skullcap and white mulberry. It offers broad-spectrum protection of SPF30 PA+++ and comes in 10 shades; each packaged in a sleek white tube with a representative color band.

Other products include two refillable compact powders, designed in the tradition of Rose Hermès blush cases, the glowing powder and the glowing matte powder, a face powder brush assembled by a French brushmaker, and more.

Most items in the range are scented with notes of arnica, sandalwood and green tea, an original fragrance concocted by in-house perfumer Christine Nagel. They additionally carry the packaging aesthetic of Pierre Hardy – creative director of the Hermès jewelry and shoe line and are therefore perfect for gifts.

The Plein Air collection is now available in Hermès boutiques and selected retailers worldwide.
