Former Aston Martin vice-chairman joins Browne Jacobson’s manufacturing and industrial sector board

Law firm Browne Jacobson has appointed former Aston Martin Lagonda vice president and chief planning officer (CPO), Nikki Rimmington, as the first non-executive director (NED) of its manufacturing sector strategy council and industrial.

It is one of many sector appointments for the company’s corporate sector in recent months, which includes senior general counsel (GC) Anneliese Reinhold as its first non-executive chair of its board. corporate sector strategy.

Working closely with partner Declan Cushley who leads the firm’s corporate sector market group, and partner and head of Browne Jacobson’s manufacturing and industrial sector, Paul Kirkpatrick, Nikki brings significant expertise in strategic planning and implementation, corporate finance, project delivery, operational performance management and business transformation that will support the firm and its lawyers in driving strategy of the manufacturing and industrial sector, which forms part of the firm’s broader strategy for the business sector.

Nikki has over 20 years of experience primarily in the automotive and industrial sector, but has worked in various other business service lines during her career. Nikki is currently Director of Strategic Development at InoBat Auto, a European company specializing in the research, development, manufacture and recycling of innovative electric batteries. Prior to that, Nikki spent 13 years working in a number of roles at Aston Martin, including as Vice President and Chief Purchasing Officer, where she was responsible for product lifestyle planning, implementing revisions product planning, leading business performance analysis and being involved in a major restructuring of Aston Martin’s planning function. Prior to this, Nikki worked as an Associate at AT Kearney Management Consultants and spent five years at Jaguar Land Rover as a Vehicle Safety Integration Engineer.
