Biden on Second Amendment gun rights: ‘No amendment is absolute’
President Biden Thursday, rolling out a series of executive orders on gun controldeclared “no amendment is absolute”, while asserting that “nothing” it recommends “infringes” on the Second Amendment.

“Today we are taking action to address not just the gun crisis, but what is effectively a public health crisis,” Biden said from the White House.

Biden calls for the Justice Department, within a month, to come up with a rule to stop ‘ghost guns,’ which are ‘kits’ that people can buy legally and then assemble entirely to create a working firearm which does not have a serial number.

The president also asks the DOJ within 60 days to propose a rule on slings used for handguns, making them more precise; proposing actions on “response to community violence”; ask the DOJ to publish suggestions for “red flag” legislation; and have his administration publish a report on arms trafficking.

Biden also officially announced David Chipman as Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR TOP STORY.

Biden administration spends $60 million a week caring for migrant children: report
The Biden administration is spending at least $60 million a week to house more than 16,000 migrant minors in its care, according to a report.

This funding, which amounts to $3.1 billion per year, is used to care for children in facilities operated by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) after they are transferred from Border Patrol. These costs are expected to rise significantly in the coming months, according to analysis by The Washington Post.

The amount is about four times the Small Business Administration’s fiscal year 2020 budget of $760 million, and four times a similar amount allocated to the SBA that year to help small businesses get crushed by the outbreak of COVID-19.

Currently, 8,500 children are living in pop-up sites and another 4,000 are awaiting transfer from border facilities. CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE.

A FEW SEPARATE WORDS

US senator. Josh HaleyR-Mo., lambasted the Biden administration’s gun control plans Thursday night during an appearance on Fox News’ “Ingraham’s Angle”, telling guest host Pete Hegseth that the Biden White House had the gun problem “exactly upside down”.

The mere fact that Biden called the Second Amendment a “fake amendment” shows “in his mind that he doesn’t believe it’s in the Constitution, he clearly doesn’t believe in the right to keep and bear arms,” he said. Hawley said. .

“What amazes me,” he added, “is that these liberals seem fine with criminals on the streets having all the guns they want – they’re okay with rioting, they’re okay with violence, as long as it’s done by So when law-abiding citizens want to own a gun legally — as guaranteed by the Second Amendment — they completely lose their minds, and that’s what Biden is proposing to suppress now.
